Wi‑Fi QR code generator
Let guests join your Wi‑Fi by pointing their phone camera at a code, instead of reading out a password. It’s free, needs no account, and keeps working as long as your network name and password stay the same.
- Works with iPhone and Android cameras
- No app needed to scan
- Made in your browser
Scan it to make your own
How to make one
Three steps, about a minute
- Choose Wi‑FiOpen the studio. The Wi‑Fi code is already selected.
- Enter your networkType the network name exactly as phones show it, the password, and the security type (almost always WPA/WPA2/WPA3).
- Design and printKeep the “Free Wi‑Fi” frame and icon or make it your own, then download a PNG, SVG or print-ready PDF.
What happens when someone scans it
On an iPhone, the Camera app shows a button to join the network. On Android, the camera or Google Lens offers to connect. One tap and they’re online: nobody types a long password, and you don’t have to spell it out.
The network name and password are stored in the pattern itself, so the code works without an internet connection and without us. It keeps working even if Quiet Zone QR were gone.
Tips for cafés, rentals and offices
- Use a guest network if your router has one, so visitors never reach your own devices.
- Print the network name under the code for anyone whose phone can’t scan.
- Put it where people wait: on tables, at the counter, inside the door of a holiday rental, in meeting rooms.
- Changed the password? Make a new code. The password is inside the code, so the old one stops working.
- Hidden network? Tick “Hidden network” so phones know to look for it.
Why Wi‑Fi codes are always static
Phones need the network name and password straight from the code to connect, so a Wi‑Fi code can’t be a short link you edit later. That’s also why it’s free for good and needs no account. If you change your password often, print the code on a small card that’s cheap to replace.
Questions
The things people ask most.
Is the Wi‑Fi QR code really free?
Yes. Static codes, Wi‑Fi included, are free and unlimited, and you don’t need an account to make or download one.
Do you see or store my Wi‑Fi password?
Not unless you save the code to an account. Without signing in, the code is made in your browser and the password never reaches our server. If you save it, it’s stored with your other codes so you can download it again.
Which phones can scan it?
iPhones with iOS 11 or later, using the Camera app, and most Android phones with the camera or Google Lens. No app is needed.
Does the code expire?
No. It works as long as your network name and password stay the same.
