Acceptable use
What Quiet Zone QR codes and pages may not be used for
- Phishing: collecting passwords, payment details or personal information under false pretenses.
- Scams, including fake prizes, fake invoices and fake support numbers.
- Malware, or downloads that hide what they do.
- Spam.
- Content that is illegal where you or the people scanning are.
- Pretending to be another person or business.
- Hiding where a link goes, for example with link shorteners or chains of redirects.
Destinations are checked automatically when a code is saved and again every day, and every report is reviewed. Codes that break these rules are switched off, and accounts that break them may be suspended.
To see where any Quiet Zone QR code goes without opening it, add a + to the end of its link. To report one, use the link at the bottom of its page or go to its link followed by +.
These rules are part of the Terms of Service.
