Dynamic QR code

QR codes for restaurant menus

Put your menu on every table with a code you print once. When dishes or prices change, upload the new menu, and every printed code shows it straight away.

  • 1 dynamic code free with an account
  • No app needed for diners
  • See how many people scan it

Scan it to make your own

How to make one

Three steps, about a minute

  1. Create a free accountMenu codes are dynamic, so they live in an account. It takes a minute.
  2. Upload your menuUpload the PDF you already have (up to 15 MB), or make a link page if you have separate food, drinks and specials menus.
  3. Print it, update it any timeKeep the “Scan for menu” frame, download a print-ready PDF at the exact size, and print. When the menu changes, upload the new file: the code stays the same.

Three ways to show your menu

  • PDF menu: upload the file your designer or printer already has. Diners can open it straight away, or see it on a page with your name and a download button.
  • Link page: one code that lists several menus (lunch, dinner, drinks, specials) plus your booking link or Instagram.
  • Website: if your menu is already online, the code opens that page, and you can point it somewhere else later.

Printing tips

  • Size: on a table tent, a code 3 to 4 cm (about 1.5 in) wide scans comfortably from where people sit. The studio tells you how far away your chosen size will scan.
  • Contrast: keep the code dark on a light background, and choose matte lamination, since gloss reflects lights into the camera.
  • Margin: keep the white border around the code (the quiet zone); it helps phones find it.
  • Test before printing with a couple of different phones, in the room’s real light.

Why a dynamic code

Menus change: seasonal dishes, new prices, a typo. A dynamic code holds a short link like quietzoneqr.com/k3x9p2, so you change what it opens without reprinting a single table card. You can pause it, and see scans per day, countries and devices, which shows you your busy times.

If you ever stop paying for a plan, printed codes keep working.

Questions

The things people ask most.

Do diners need an app?

No. Phone cameras open the menu straight in the browser.

Can I update the menu after printing?

Yes, as often as you like. Upload the new PDF or edit the page, and every printed code shows the new version.

How much does it cost?

A free account includes 1 dynamic code, enough for one menu. Paid plans add more codes and more space for files.

What if my PDF is large?

Each PDF can be up to 15 MB. Smaller files open faster on phone data, so export your menu for screens (“smallest file size” in most design apps) if you can.
